At People’s Research and Development Organization (PRADO), we believe that democracy thrives when elections are transparent, inclusive, and trusted by all. Our initiative, “Fair Vote, Bright Future,” is a policy-focused campaign aimed at strengthening the electoral landscape of Bangladesh through rigorous research, inclusive engagement, and strategic advocacy.
Our Objective
To assess and influence electoral policies to ensure transparency, inclusivity, and integrity in Bangladesh’s voting processes.
Key Activities
Policy Review & Gap Analysis
We conduct in-depth research on existing electoral laws, voter registration processes, and campaign financing regulations to identify legal and administrative gaps that hinder fair elections.
Voter Access Study
Our team analyzes the accessibility of the voting process for marginalized communities—including the rural poor, women, minorities, and persons with disabilities—to ensure no voice is left unheard.
Election Monitoring Report
In collaboration with local observers, we document and report irregularities, barriers, and best practices during the election period to promote accountability.
Public Awareness & Media Campaign
We create data-driven infographics, stories, and social media content to raise awareness about election issues and inspire citizen participation and policy change.
Policy Brief & Advocacy
PRADO develops evidence-based policy briefs and engages with the Election Commission, political parties, and civil society through dialogues and consultations to push for meaningful electoral reform.
Expected Outcome
